My name is Ryan Ward, or Ry if you’re short on time. I’ve been piggybacking off of the talent of musicians reviewing music for a good while, but decided to actually take myself seriously in 2021.

There’s no real limit genre wise as to what I’ll look at. Pop, rock, metal, indie, avant-garde jazz fusion with a midwest emo twist, country; you name it, and I’ll give you my unnecessary opinion on it. I tend to be a big fan of reviewing smaller and local musicians (do you need another white cis male giving his opinion on Taylor Swift?), but I’m not opposed to reviewing musicians of any size or shape.

I’m also a massive supporter of physical media; I might think the music is dogshit, but if there’s a vinyl that accompanies it, I’ll always let readers know. To clarify, this isn’t a sponsorship or monetary thing; I just think tangible things are neat.
